About us

Four Corner Farm's goat herd began over a decade ago as a small-scale learning experience for two aspiring farmer brothers. A mixture of does were bred to a fullblood Kiko buck, rapidly improving the herd genetics. Over the years it steadily grew into a 50+ doe, pasture managed herd. Savannah influence was added to provide better muscling, udder structure, and higher value finished meat kids. In 2021, a large expansion was initiated, including the construction of a semi-confinement doe facility and feedlot. 200 Spanish and Kiko/Spanish does were added to our farm, bringing the total herd to 250 does. Currently we are managing the herd in semi-confinement with summer grazing and using an accelerated, 8 month kidding schedule. Future plans include increasing the doe herd to 300 head and additional fencing to increase grazing opportunities on cover crops.
